Some regional models, including selected iPhone models from mainland China, may not support eSIM.

iPhone XS, XR, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 series and newer models that include eSIM hardware. Mainland China iPhone models may differ.

What is an eSIM?
An eSIM is a digital SIM built into compatible phones and tablets. It lets you install a mobile data plan without inserting a physical SIM card.
Is my device compatible with eSIM?
Please confirm that your phone or tablet supports eSIM before you buy. Most recent iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, and selected iPad models support eSIM, but compatibility can vary by country, model, and carrier.
Does my device need to be unlocked?
Yes. Your device must be carrier-unlocked to use a travel eSIM. If your device is locked to one carrier, the eSIM may install but fail to connect to the destination network.
How do I install my WalkEsim?
After purchase, you will receive the eSIM details by email. Scan the QR code or enter the manual installation details in your device settings, then follow the activation instructions for your selected plan.
When should I activate my eSIM?
Install your eSIM before traveling when you have a stable Wi-Fi connection. Activate or turn on data roaming according to the plan instructions, usually when you arrive at your destination.
Can I use my physical SIM and WalkEsim at the same time?
Yes, on dual-SIM compatible devices. You can keep your physical SIM active for calls or SMS and use WalkEsim as the mobile data line while traveling.
Can I keep my WhatsApp or LINE number?
Yes. Messaging apps such as WhatsApp and LINE usually keep using your existing account number as long as you do not re-register the app with a different number.
Are calls and SMS included?
Most WalkEsim travel plans are data-only unless the selected product clearly states that calls, SMS, or a local phone number are included.
Can I share hotspot with other devices?
Hotspot sharing is supported on many plans and devices when the local network allows it. Please check the selected product details before purchase.
What happens when my data runs out?
Depending on the plan, data may stop, slow down under fair-use rules, or require a new plan. You can purchase another suitable WalkEsim plan if more data is needed.
How can I check my remaining data?
Follow the usage instructions provided with your eSIM email. You can also monitor mobile data usage in your device settings, although device-side tracking may not match carrier usage exactly.
Can I transfer my eSIM to another device?
Most travel eSIM QR codes can be installed only once and cannot be transferred after installation. Please contact support before deleting or moving an eSIM.
What should I do if I delete or lose my QR code?
First check your order email for the eSIM details. If the eSIM was already installed and then deleted, it may not be reusable. Contact WalkEsim support with your order information.
Do I need to enable data roaming?
Yes, most travel eSIM plans require data roaming to be turned on for the eSIM line. Keep roaming enabled only for the WalkEsim line, not necessarily for your home SIM.
