Frequently Asked Questions
What is an eSIM?
An eSIM is a digital SIM built into compatible devices. It lets you install a mobile data plan without inserting a physical SIM card.
When will I receive my eSIM?
WalkEsim products are delivered electronically. After payment is completed, your eSIM details are sent by email.
Do I need an unlocked device?
Yes. Your device must be carrier-unlocked and eSIM-compatible. Locked devices may install the eSIM but fail to connect.
When should I install and activate my eSIM?
Install your eSIM before traveling while connected to Wi-Fi. Activate mobile data for the WalkEsim line when you arrive, unless your plan instructions say otherwise.
Can I keep my physical SIM active?
Yes, on dual-SIM devices. You can keep your home SIM active for calls or SMS and use WalkEsim for mobile data while traveling.
Are calls and SMS included?
Most WalkEsim travel plans are data-only unless the product page clearly states otherwise.
Can I use hotspot?
Hotspot is supported on many plans and devices when the local network allows it. Check the product details before purchase.
What happens when my data runs out?
Depending on the plan, data may stop, slow down under fair-use rules, or require a new plan. You can purchase another suitable WalkEsim plan if needed.
Can I refund an eSIM?
Refund eligibility depends on whether the eSIM has been installed, activated, or used. See our Refund Policy.
